It is always our goal to provide our patients with the best possible care, which includes scheduling and completing your treatment in a timely manner. With this goal in mind we are writing to inform you of a change in our cancellation policy.
Repeat no shows and short notice cancellations prevent us from being able to offer earlier appointment times to patients who are waiting. We do understand that life happens, emergencies come up and despite your best intentions an appointment may have to be missed or rescheduled. In these cases we ask that our patients provide at least 24 hours’ notice of cancellation whenever possible. In order to assist you, we have set up appointment reminders that can be received via text message and/or email.
Effective immediately any appointment that is missed or rescheduled without 24 hours’ notice, is considered a missed appointment and is subject to a fee of $50 per hour. (Ex: a missed 2 hour appointment would result in a charge of $100). Patients or families who are scheduled for multiple appointments in one day will be charged per missed appointment. Repeat no shows or short notice cancellations may result in dismissal from the practice.
If you need to cancel/reschedule an appointment, please call our office at (360) 458-5606. If you do not reach a scheduling coordinator you may leave a detailed voicemail. You can also cancel your appointments by responding to the confirmation text message or email that is sent to you.
